Highway 12 Shirts was an idea rolling around in my head for years as teacher summers passed in Salvo. So summer of 2020 I decided to launch Highway 12 Shirts. We started with four designs and the order was placed on June 29, 2020.
I ordered medium, large and extra large sizes. So I was blessed (and still remember their names) to have orders just when the mockups were posted. Once the shirts came in, I posted updates and orders started rolling in and I would either mail them out or do a deck drop off. I always would then message the customer thank you and I just dropped it off and sometimes the conversation would continue.
On one of those deck drop offs the conversation continued and my customer said he would have bought many more shirts if I had plus sizes. His Instagram handle will always be what I remember him by and this summer I got to meet him and his family (I will get to that in a second). So on July 21, 2020 I put in a second order for more shirts and included 2x large and 3x large. My customer, on his own paid in advance to ensure he was serious about this order.
Ok, now to the family. So this summer I met his family and I was so happy to tell him thank you! Thank you for bringing my attention to a customer base with plus size clothing. I read and reply to every single comment and email I see on social media. Customer Service and most of all customers are important to me and I go above and beyond. I have had customers say navy, womens, v-neck, tech shirt.... I have done it.
When searching for a size if you type xxx large or xxxx large in the search bar you can find the shirts I have in your size.
Thank you for being the best customers and making Highway 12 Shirts a business I can continue. Third Stone Graphics in Frisco is printing more #AirDownRampUp shirts for us. With screenprinting by Commonwealth Press and Third Stone Graphics, I am a lucky gal. ~Megan
